Betsy Boo's Boutique: Sweet Summer Dress
If you're like me, your summer wardrobe consists of only swimsuits and light, breezy dresses. Summers are hot in Music City so I'm always excited to find outfits that are cute as they are cool. Today's OOTD is from Betsy Boo's Boutique, an online only boutique that I'm hundo-p obsessed with. Trendy and affordable.. and they even pull outfits together for you with their BBB sets. Check it out on their website.
On a scale of one to adorable.. how cute is this dress? It's strapless but there's a ton of elastic around the chest so you don't have to worry about it slipping down. The material is light and flowy but good quality. It's the kind of dress that makes you want to spin in circles and skip through fields!
I also love these nude heels with peep toes and ankle straps. They're stacked which makes them extremely comfortable and I love the gold ring detail. The older I get, the more I need comfort and these heels are W's (winners).
I wore this outfit (with a white blazer) to interview country music legend, Charlie Daniels, at his inaugural "Veteran Impact Celebration" for a piece on one of the TV shows I work on, Nashville Insider. I've always wanted to meet and interview Charlie as I'm from Mt. Juliet which is where he lives but our paths had never crossed in my 10+ years in the entertainment TV world. As expected, Charlie is as good as he is talented. A heart of gold! I'm grateful for the chance to interview him at such a special event to benefit deserving veterans. What a night!
